What is the registration fee and what is included?

The registration fee is the same whether you choose the long, medium or short route. It is possible to decide during the event on which route to try, following the relevant signs. Medical assistance, mechanical assistance and supervision of crossings are guaranteed on all routes.

The registration fee changes according to the time of registration.

Registration includes mechanical assistance and medical assistance during the race, control of road closures, assistants and volunteers.

The registration fee also includes:

Should I choose in advance which route to take?

It is possible to decide on which route to take during the event itself, following the relevant signposting. Medical and mechanical assistance, as well as crossing control, are guaranteed on the long and medium routes.

What documents are required to register to Granfondo Via del Sale?

At the time of registration, the following will be requested:
Biographical data (first name, last name, residence, email, phone)
Tax code
Body of membership
Cycling club of affiliation and company code
Membership number
Valid medical certificate for cycling
Chip number (if in possession)
Willingness to participate in affiliated Circuits reserved for professional orders

Where can I verify my registration?

You will be able to independently verify your registration on the Winning Time website at the link: https://www.winningtime.it/web/main.php?mac=calendar_main&item=2467 after accessing the restricted area with your credentials.
As you scroll down the page you will find fields to enter your first and last name and search.

Can I participate in the Granfondo Via del Sale even if I am not registered for any company?

ACSI Ciclismo club members and all Associations and federations affiliated to Consulta Nazionale Ciclismo holding a valid card for this year can register.

Non-members may register by signing up for a day pass at the cost of Euro 10.00 (insurance coverage is limited to the duration of the sporting event).

Foreign club members can participate if they are in possession of a valid card issued by their own Federation. Foreign cyclists without this card can participate by purchasing a day and submitting a medical fitness certificate for competitive sport activity, as well as signing the ethical declaration.

The day pass for the 2019 edition for foreign cyclists only will be FREE as agreed by the Organizing Committee and Acsi Ciclismo.
Professionals, former Professionals (before the effective date of possessing the amateur card) may participate in the event only if invited by the Organizing Committee and will not be classified. They cannot however affect the outcome of the racing event.

For foreign cyclists, participation is allowed only if in possession of a valid card issued by its Federation. For foreign cyclists not provided with this card, participation is only permitted with the signing of a daily card, the medical certificate of suitability for competitive activity and the signing of the ethical declaration.

How can I update my card code?

To complete the registration it is COMPULSORY to communicate the card number valid for the 2021 season. From January it was possible to update the code of your card autonomously by accessing your personal area on the website www.winningtime.it

What is the procedure for making a name change or canceling a registration?

Replacement or cancellation of an athlete will be accepted only by February 15, 2023, by paying a fee of 10.00 euros for secretarial expenses.
In case of replacement of an athlete, the fee must be paid by the predetermined date at the same time as the new athlete's data.
In case of cancellation, the fee must be paid by the predetermined date together with the request to keep the registration valid for the 2023 edition.
Under no circumstances can the fee be returned.
Send request to email info@granfondoviadelsale.com, the organization will provide bank details on which to make the payment.

What are the times for picking up the race pack and what should I bring with me?

Verification of the badge, delivery of material and race number at Fantini Club (Palasportur administration area - (Lungomare G. Deledda 182 Cervia).
RACE PACK PICK UP PROCEDURE (for on-line registrations): after completing the registration, cyclists must print the e-mail message received upon registration, which contains all relevant data. The printed e-mail message must be presented at the administration area. Those who have not printed their e-mail message can have it printed at the dedicated area upon payment of an administration fee of € 1. NB. The email is required for race number pickup.

Friday: from 15.00 to 21.00
Saturday: from 9.30 to 22.00
Sunday: from 6.30 to 7.30

Can I pick up another rider's race pack?

It is possible to pick up the race pack of another athlete registered in the race by downloading the appropriate proxy form from the Winning Time website and presenting it at the time of the withdrawal correctly completed. The module for the race pack will be available approximately 20 days before the race and will be downloadable only if the athlete is in good standing with the registration (correct data, validated payment, updated card ..).

From what time will the rankings be available and where?

The classifications will be shown next to the prize-giving area at the Fantini Club (Lungomare G. Deledda 182) as soon as the time-recording system has processed the results.

Classification processing with gun time for absolute and real time for categories.

The final rankings for the absolute will be provided within 1 hour from the end of the race, the other categories to follow. Classifications and diplomas will be available online from the day following the event.

Are there any agreements with hotels in the area?

Over 380 hotels in the town of Cervia-Milano Marittima, with services tailored to you and your companions. And our Sportur Club Hotel, by the sea, in front of the Fantini Club beach, a few steps from the start and the arrival of the Granfondo Via del Sale.

Can accompanying persons attend the final pasta party?

For the participants of the Granfondo Via del Sale the "all you can eat" pasta party is included in the registration fee. The accompanying persons can participate in the pasta party by purchasing the voucher at the price of 10 euros at the White Bar inside the Fantini Club.

Are there events designed for families and accompanying persons?

The Granfondo via del Sale is a much more than a granfondo, but a real cycling festival that invades Cervia every year with a rich program of collateral events dedicated to athletes and their families.

Camper area :

As for campers, if you want to stop at a camping you can contact camping in the area (Camping Adriatico, Camping Pinarella, Village Pineta ...).

The organization has planned parking areas for campers, specifically the Piazzale at the corner of Via Tritone - Via Caduti per la Libertà, with the possibility of loading and unloading water.

Is it possible to promote my company within the Expo Village?

Being a partner of Granfondo Via del Sale means becoming a participant in one of the most important cycling events in Italy.
